Answer

What is a call number?

A call number is a unique combination of letters and numbers. Each item in the library has an individual call number. It helps us organize and find items.

The image below shows a title of a book with the library location underlined (available at Waldo Library) and the call number in parenthesis is next to it (F870.M5 R62).

Ebooks will not typically have the call number in the Library Search record. You can scroll down and view other relevant information like the ISBN in the item details.
