Do you have study rooms?

Group study rooms

We have seven group study rooms at Waldo Library for groups of two or more. We also have 11 individual study rooms at Waldo Library that you can use for quiet study.

Individual study rooms are not appropriate for online classes, virtual meetings or appointments. Reserve a web conference room (see below) if you need a private space to talk or listen to audio without headphones.

These study rooms can be reserved for up to 4 hours, 14 days in advance. Additional time can be given if there are no other scheduled reservations.

Web conference rooms

If you are looking for a space for online interviews, online or hybrid classes, or small group meetings, check out one of the six web conference rooms at Waldo Library.

These study rooms can be reserved for up to 4 hours, 14 days in advance. Additional time can be given if there are no other scheduled reservations. 

Open study rooms

At Swain Library, three open study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis during library hours. At Waldo Library, there are four study rooms for graduate students in the Graduate Student Commons. Open study rooms cannot be reserved ahead of time.
