Answer

The library has access to a database called Mango Languages.  It is a great interactive resource to use when you want to learn a foreign language. It provides lessons in practical conversation skills for dozens of foreign languages and provides tutorials for using English in several different languages. Create an individual profile to track your progress. Each language has several lessons that walk you through the tutorial. You can create a free account through the database website and then download the app on your iPhone, iPod, or Ipad. You will need your BroncoNetID and password in order to access the database from off campus.

We also have a limited number of audio CD's, with coursebooks, on some languages. To search these in our catalog, use the Classic catalog, then select Advanced Search. Click on the Set Limits button, and under Item Type, select Nonmusical Recording. Then click the Select Limits button. In the search box, enter your language, followed by the word "language." Example: Spanish language. You can use the default of By Keyword, or change to By Subject Heading.
